From our first telephone call and meeting, we were so impressed by her professionalism and lovely manner and she took the time to understand our family and what we were hoping to achieve. Her designs were beautiful and she encouraged us to be more adventurous but true to ourselves. She was also mindful of our budget and showed us where we might be able to economise.

I enrolled the help of Kate while doing a whole house refurbishment. Going from being bamboozled by the huge amount of choice I felt safe in her suggestions and realised that I was going to be able to change a 1960’s non-descript farmhouse to something spectacular for all the family. Kate is so much more than just a designer; she is so supportive throughout and generous with her time. I think everyone doing any changes to their house would benefit from her ideas – she will take a project that may seem mundane and make it wonderful!

Never thought we’d use an interior designer, for concern that recommendations would be unrealistic, expensive and an offer of a ‘not us’ design. Far from the case with Kate. She spends time to understand her clients, to ensure she can offer the ‘right’ design options, even with a scant brief! She’s happy to suggest upcycling of existing furniture, rather than recommending new and can instantly see what isn’t ‘working’, whether it be wall colour, accessories or lighting. We’re only part way through the new look, but already thrilled.
