A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Kate
Ever since my dad made me a doll’s house when I was ten years old and I spent hours decorating it and spending all my money on tiny furniture, I’ve been obsessed with creating homes that perfectly suit the people who live in them.
Creating Homes That Tell Your Story
The houses I work on these days are a bit bigger than my old dolls house which, by the way, is living out it’s retirement at my parent’s house in Scotland. But I still believe that the purpose of a home is to enhance the lives of the people within it. Whether your home is large or small, new or old, it’s imperative that the space where you spend most of your time works for you in a way that makes you feel relaxed and happy.

For me, the biggest compliment is when someone walks into my home and says, ‘This house is so you’.
I absolutely love helping people create their own dream spaces and over time I’ve learnt how to really listen to my clients – getting to know their needs and goals for their homes and, just as important, finding out about them and the things that make them the people they are – capturing their stories into each and every room I design, so that every home is as unique and individual as the people who live in them.
Inspiration is everywhere
I’m inspired by all sorts of stuff – old buildings, vintage ceramics, walks in the countryside. I love mooching around bric- a- brac shops and antiques fairs – hunting for treasure. Many of the items in my own home have been passed on from friends and family or picked up at vintage fairs and second-hand shops. I love that each item has a story. That’s more important to me than having everything perfectly matching.
If you’d like to speak to me about your home please contact me. I’d love to hear from you.
