I’m Kate, founder of Kate Parslow Interiors, an interior designer working across Shropshire and Powys. I help busy homeowners create thoughtful, beautifully designed homes that feel both deeply personal and effortlessly comfortable.
I’m Kate.
Ever since my dad made me a doll’s house when I was 10 years old, and I spent all my pocket money on tiny pieces of furniture for the family who lived there, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of creating homes that perfectly suit their owners.
Today, the homes I design are a bit bigger! But the desire to create unique spaces has never left.
Guided by a deep and abiding love of vintage and antique, I lean towards richly layered interiors. Blending treasured or inherited pieces alongside some new to create homes that feel carefully curated, deeply personal and never overdone.
If it’s a show home you’re after, I’m probably not the designer for you. I’m not interested in spaces that only look good in photos. What excites me—and truly drives my work—is creating real homes that are filled with character.

Since establishing my studio in 2020, I’ve had the pleasure of working with homeowners across Shropshire and further afield—from period townhouses and country cottages to barn conversions and contemporary new builds.
